this album contains a series of singles that I released over the summer of 2021.
in late 2020 I decided to try to write a new riff every day for one month, then took the best 5 ideas and filled them out into full tracks. i spent a lot of time developing the style of these songs, and was incredibly happy with how they turned out. i also spent several months learning how to use blender to make artwork/animations for all the singles, bit of a tangent but it was fun!
each of these tracks references some video game things that are near and dear to my heart. metronome samples pokemon cries, drift includes the switch joycon “snap”, biomes uses some mincraft sounds, channels samples the wii menu music, and save has a couple soundbytes from the ps4 menu.
